The origin

From the brand side of the table

Before the agency existed, Trevor and Mark worked on the brand side at Fawn Design, a Utah bag brand, back when influencer marketing was just getting started. One experiment stuck with them: they paid a creator $500 for a post, and it drove roughly a hundred thousand dollars in sales. The lesson wasn’t “influencers work” — it was that the followers’ intent matters more than the follower count, an idea they started calling intent-based influence, and the seed of how we still source and brief creators today.

In 2016 they founded their own DTC brand, Asher Golf — golf gloves with color and design, built for the weekend warrior while the incumbent served the country club. They lived the golden era of paid social firsthand: as Trevor tells it on the podcast, “I was able to just put $100 a day to spend and I’d make $5,000 a day.” And then they lived the end of that era — iOS privacy changes, rising CPMs, the death of easy — which is precisely the experience that makes an agency useful now.

That's the resume behind Bestie Media: operators who have launched products, bought the media, briefed the creators, and felt the margin math from the owner’s chair.

How we think

Boutique on purpose, transparent to a fault

We don't bring a ton of clients on. We're not that kind of agency, we're boutique. We only work with specific types of people and specific types of brands in the e-commerce space. But nine times out of ten, anytime I'm talking to one of these brands, I say: there are so many great agencies out there and you can find what we do in a lot of places.
Trevor Crump on The REAL Ethics of Marketing (Ep. 72)

That's not a marketing line — it's the operating model. We keep the client list short so the people who pitch you are the people in your account, and we tell brands when we’re not the right fit, including when the right answer is a competitor. It’s also why our average client relationship runs 22+ months in an industry where, as Trevor has said on air, the average agency-client lifecycle is four to six months.

Do we need to generalize this a little bit more and make it more for the masses so that we get more downloads, or do you keep it more meat and potato the way we've had it, so that we're actually serving the type of person we want to serve?
Trevor Crump on Creating Collaborations & Building Partnerships (Ep. 102)

They chose meat and potatoes. The Unstoppable Marketer is 156 episodes of it — the same frameworks we use in client accounts, argued in public, transcribed in full on our podcast archive. If you want to audit how we think before you ever book a call, it’s all there. Most agencies ask for trust. We’d rather you check the receipts.

What we do

One roof: strategy, media, creative, creators

The services are growth strategy, media buying, ad creative, and UGC, run across Meta, Google, and TikTok — with an in-house design team and a network of 1,000+ UGC creators so creative volume never throttles testing. The strategists who run your account have scaled 9-figure brands, and before we spend a dollar we learn your margin math: COGS, ad spend, operating costs, what a first-time customer has to do to turn a profit.

Our perfect fit is a Shopify brand with a great product that’s ready to scale. The full menu is on our services page, and if you’re local, our Utah page covers what being down the road in Draper actually gets you.

We’re a Meta Business Partner, and the thinking behind every number above is documented across four years of podcast episodes — not reverse-engineered for a pitch deck. As Trevor once put it on air, almost by accident: “This is all stuff that, by the way, we never promote ourselves. We don’t really promote ourselves, but this is all stuff we do.”
